Primary email setup for iPhone/iPad

Video Instructions:

Add a new email account:

1. Click on the “Settings” app on your iPhone.

2. After tapping on “Settings”, please select “Account and password”.

3. Select “Add Account” to get started.

4. Select “Other”.

5. Select “Add Mail Account”.

6. On the “New Account” screen, fill in all the required information. Please make sure that the email address and the password is correct, and then select “Next”.

For IMAP connection:

Make sure the information looks similar to the image below. And please follow the exact steps mentioned.

1. Select IMAP on top.

2. Incoming Mail server:

Host Name: imap2.element74.com

User Name: Email

Password

3. Outgoing Mail server:

Host Name: smtp2.element74.com

 User Name: Email

 Password

4. Select “Next”.

Note: After selecting “Next”, if you get a notification that says “smtp2 or outgoing mail server cannot be verified” please hit “Continue”.

If you get a notification that says “is not using SSL” please hit “Yes”  as it just means we have protection on our side.

5. Select “Save”.

6. Select the account you have just set up.

7.  Select “Outgoing Mail Server”

8. Select “smtp2.element74.com” as your Outgoing Server.

9. Disable Use SSL and change the Server Port to 2525. Save these changes.

10. Back in your Account, select “Advance”.

11. Under “Incoming Settings “,disable Use SSL and change the Server Port to 143.

Congratulations! You now have your hosted email on your iPhone.

POP3 Email setup on your iPhone

Make sure the information looks similar to the image below. And please follow the exact steps mentioned.

1. Select POP on top.

2. Incoming Mail server:

 Host Name: mail2.element74.com

 User Name: Email

 Password

3. Outgoing Mail server:

 Host Name:smtp2.element74.com

 User Name:Email

 Password

4. Select “Next”.

Note: After selecting “Next”, if you get a notification that says “smtp2 or outgoing mail server cannot be verified” please hit “Continue”.

If you get a notification that says “is not using SSL” please hit “Yes”  as it just means we have protection on our side.

5.  Select the account you have just set up.

6. Select “Outgoing Mail Server”

7. Select “smtp2.element74.com” as your Outgoing Server.

8. Disable Use SSL and change the Server Port to 2525. Save these changes.

9. Back in your Account, select “Advance”.

10. Under “Incoming Settings “,disable Use SSL and change the Server Port to 110.

 

Congratulations! You now have your hosted email on your iPhone.
